This has everything to do with my previous post. As a student who still relies on his parent’s money for rent and food and pretty much everything, I don’t have much room to speak against the kids mentioned in this article.
HOWEVER, these kids are out of their schools (which were probably just mirror images of Whitman located somewhere else in the country) and have since been ruining everything that has to do with popular culture. Williamsburg has become a hive that is bursting with the insects some call hipsters, I like to call them the “Murderers of Genuine Appreciation”.
Just as “art” itself is experiencing a new transformation that will hopefully bring it further in the realities of ALL people instead of groups of few here and there, these fuckers are getting a reality check of their own. Too bad it had to come with a recession, but perhaps we needed it.
